The process
A referral network with the discipline of a contract.
The Circle Corporation turns informal introductions into structured, accountable business relationships — without turning them into a marketplace.
1. Invitation
Every member enters through a personal invitation from someone already inside the network. Invitations are limited, tracked and tied to the member who sent them, so accountability travels with each new arrival.
- Invitation codes are single-use and expire.
- The inviting member is recorded permanently as your Connector of record.
- Applicants without an invitation may request consideration and are reviewed privately.
2. The request
A Client describes what they need: the outcome, the timeline, the budget range and the market it serves. Requests are private and are never broadcast to the whole network.
- Structured briefs keep expectations explicit from the start.
- Requests can be raised by the Client or opened by a Connector on their behalf.
- Budget ranges are indicative until a proposal is agreed.
3. The introduction
A Connector introduces one or two Experts who genuinely fit — or the platform surfaces the approved Expert holding that category, specialty and market. There is no bidding crowd and no auction.
- Both sides accept the introduction before any contact details are shared.
- The introduction is timestamped and forms the basis of the reward claim.
- Declining an introduction is normal and carries no penalty.
4. Proposal and agreement
The Expert submits scope, deliverables, milestones and price. The Client reviews, asks questions and accepts. Nothing begins until both parties agree in writing.
- Milestones define what is delivered and what is released.
- Changes to scope are proposed and accepted the same way.
- The agreed proposal becomes the reference for any later dispute.
5. Funding and delivery
The Client funds each milestone before work starts on it. Funds are held by the platform and released on approval, so the Expert knows the money exists and the Client knows the work has been accepted.
- Milestone funding is simulated in this demonstration build.
- Approval, revision requests and messages stay in one project workspace.
- Either party can raise a dispute before release.
6. Completion and reward
On release, the Expert receives 80% of eligible fees and the Connector who made the introduction receives 20%. The reward comes out of the Expert's share — it is never added to the Client's bill.
- Rewards apply to completed, paid work only.
- Refunded or reversed amounts reverse the corresponding reward.
- Every entry is visible in the member's earnings ledger.
