Policies

Dispute policy

Most disagreements are scope disagreements. The proposal is the reference point for every review.

Raising a dispute

Either party may raise a dispute on a funded milestone before release, or within fourteen days of release.

A dispute must state what was agreed, what was delivered and what outcome is sought.

Review

Funds on the disputed milestone are held. An administrator reviews the accepted proposal, the delivered work, the project messages and the approval history.

Both parties may submit evidence. Reviews are normally completed within ten business days.

Outcomes

Possible outcomes are full release, partial release, full refund, or a revised delivery schedule agreed by both parties.

Any refund reverses the corresponding expert payout and connector reward.

Repeated disputes

A pattern of upheld disputes against a member may result in suspension, loss of category placement or removal from the network.
